WildRock® Trailblazers is very excited to see our movement spreading with the addition of e-commerce, specifically, an aligned partnership with an inspiring female-led company, The Weathered Wick. Led by Erika Strassberg, The Weathered Wick is a boutique candle studio with a mission to bring joy to people through the experience of creating something beautiful. We connected with Erika because her unique offerings felt like the ideal way to launch our Trailblazers Shop.

Since the beginning of our Trailblazers retreats, one of our very favorite parts of the event has been curating gifts for our attendees. How often is it that you, a busy female executive or entrepreneur, are cared for? Welcoming our guests with unique items crafted for women, by women has been such a huge part of our offering.
We also believe that women are greater than the sum of their parts, and when each part of our lives are thriving, we’re unstoppable. Taking care of ourselves can include self-care rituals as simple as steeping a soothing cup of tea or lighting a candle with a scent that pulls us into the present, motivating us to give the task at hand our best.
Creating the Trailblazers Shop was just a natural extension of our gifts, and now, with the candle offering, women can give this gift to other trailblazing women in their lives.
The Trailblazers Signature Scent Candle
Picking a scent wasn’t easy! But after smelling almost every ingredient in the shop, we landed on our signature scent. This refreshing blend of Palo Santo, Fig Tree and Black Sea in an 8-ounce black vessel with a black metal lid is purposefully created for fellow makers, doers, up-all-nighters, dreamers and overachievers. We can’t wait for women to treat themselves or fellow trailblazers as we light others up and encourage each other to blaze new trails.

The Story of The Weathered Wick Candle Studio
When we were introduced to Erika, the founder and owner of The Weathered Wick, we knew we were interacting with a fellow Trailblazer. Erika spent the past eight years as a professional event planner and worked her way up through corporate America, only to realize she wanted to pave her own way. The Weathered Wick Candle Studio transitioned from a dream to a sleek, timeless reality as she created a bespoke location in Downtown Denver to provide custom candle creation experiences.
Since then, we’ve also hosted a Custom Curated Event there for past and future Trailblazers and are even looking forward to hosting our WildRock PR & Marketing Christmas party at The Weathered Wick later this year. We’re eager to launch our Trailblazers Shop with our flagship product, a beautiful candle made for women, by women at The Weathered Wick, making a luxury gift for business owners or a way to savor a moment for yourself!
